About James Grossman Arbitration
A veteran arbitration professional, James Grossman brings almost five decades of legal experience to his position as an arbitrator and mediator. In his current practice, he specializes in areas such as energy, commercial, employment, and international arbitration. James Grossman has arbitrated numerous cases over his career, including recent cases between U.S. and Chinese companies involving intellectual property and licensing agreements.
James Grossman earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and political science from the University of California, Berkeley before going on to complete a juris doctor at Harvard University. Prior to launching his own arbitration and mediation firm, he spent many years as a securities lawyer and legal counsel to private companies and government agencies, including serving as minority counsel to the U.S Senate Select Committee on Small Business and as legislative counsel to United States Senator Jacob K. Javits.
In addition to his work in arbitration, Mr. Grossman has served on the boards of numerous publicly traded companies, including Canoel International Energy and Champion Communication Services, both in the U.K.. He currently sits on the board for Unicorn Venture Capital Trust and Thalassa Energy Holdings.
